Family Background:
Chad doesn't know who his real parents are. He was raised in Los Angeles by foster parents who didn't care about him. In fact, one-day Chad came home and found his foster parents gone! After that, Chad lived on the streets and did what he could to get by. Eventually, Chad's social worker gave him a clue about his real parents that had been left behind--a newspaper clipping from Harmony. Chad set out to Harmony to find his birth parents…but he has yet to find out their identities. Little does Chad know that Alistair recently deleted his DNA test results…because Julian Crane is his father!
Romantic Entanglements:
Chad is in love with Whitney Russell. Despite
her tendency to hide her feelings, Whitney loves him right back. The
problem is that Whitney's sister, Simone, is also in love with Chad. And to make
matters worse, Simone believes Chad loves her back. Why? Because after
an injury, a delirious Chad declared his love for Simone, whom he believed
was Whitney. Things were complicated further after Simone was hit by a car.
Whitney blamed herself because she believed Simone ran into the street
after seeing Chad and Whitney kiss. Whitney made a promise to her unconscious
sister that she would give up Chad if Simone lived. Simone pulled
through...and Whitney has kept her promise, despite Chad's insistence
that they belong together.
Occupation:
Chad dreams of one day working in the music industry. But in the meantime, he has to pay the bills! So, he works behind the counter at the Book Café and DJ's at local clubs and parties. Chad is hard working and believes nothing in life comes for free.

Favorite Pastimes:
Listening to music, browsing the local music store for new and hot CD's, hanging out on the roof of the Russell house with Whitney, shooting hoops with his buddy, Ethan.
Best Qualities:
Chad is loyal to the core. He would do anything for
those he cares about. When Ethan wanted to find out who leaked the information
about his paternity to the tabloids, Chad even broke into the tabloid office
to find out! Chad is also practical and has a good head on his shoulders.
And he's not afraid of his feelings--he's constantly telling Whitney they
belong together. And despite not having an ideal childhood, Chad never feels
sorry for himself.
Worst Qualities:
Chad can let his temper get the best of him. When he was waiting for his DNA test results to find out the identity of his parents, he didn't exactly remain calm. Who knows what his reaction would be if he found out Alistair Crane deleted the results?
Greatest Wish:
Finding the identity of his parents. He especially hopes to learn who his mother is. Why is he less keen on finding his father? Because Chad was told by Crystal (an old friend of his mother's) that his father is a racist who left his mother high and dry when he learned of her pregnancy.
Greatest Accomplishment:
Saving Whitney's life not once…but twice! The first time was when a pile of debris fell from a construction site. Chad pushed Whitney out of the way and wound up gravely injured. Soon after, when the prom boat when down, Chad prevented Whitney from drowning…despite his own injuries.
Most Prized Possession:
His CD collection…he'd be lost without his music.
Biggest Fear:
That Simone will be crushed when she learns he really loves Whitney. Chad is truly fond of Simone and doesn't want to see her get hurt.
Biggest Regret:
Not telling Simone the truth about his feelings right away. Things would be a lot simpler right now if he'd been straightforward from the beginning.
What Makes Him Smile:
Seeing the determination on Whitney's face when she's playing an important tennis match.
What Makes Him See Red:
People with bad attitudes, like Julian Crane. He can't believe the way Julian cast out Ethan as soon as he learned he wasn't a Crane by blood.
Something You'd Be Surprised To Know About Him:
He and Whitney once tied a contest with Ethan and Theresa as Harmony's "perfect couple."
