BRAND NEW DAY -- SEASON PREMIERE     97/09/08

SEASON PREMIERE -- MATT GETS A JOB IN SAN FRANCISCO -- INTRODUCING LINDEN ASHBY AS “DR. BRETT ‘COOP’ COOPER” -- While Samantha (Brooke Langton) survives the accident, Sydney and Reilly succumb to their injuries. Samantha does not face any criminal charges, but Craig (David Charvet) vows revenge. Jennifer (Alyssa Milano) tries to provide Craig with emotional support. Amanda (Heather Locklear) goes to New York and turns down the job she had begged her former boss, Eric Baines (guest star Jeffrey Nordling), to create for her. Peter (Jack Wagner) and Taylor (Lisa Rinna) plan to get married, but Peter instead uses the ceremony to humiliate her and stress the fact that he knows she is not pregnant. Peter threatens Michael (Thomas Calabro), who is unable to use his hands due to the attack. Michael’s recommendation helps Matt (Doug Savant) get a job at an AIDS clinic. Matt and Chelsea (guest star Katie Wright) move to San Francisco. Dr. Brett Cooper (Newcomer Linden Ashby) visits Kimberly’s grave and promises to get even with Michael. He takes a job at Wilshire Memorial and moves into Matt’s old apartment. Rob Estes, Kelly Rutherford, and Andrew Shue also star. TV14
