Jorgito Vargas, Jr. stars as Josh’s best friend Dim, a 16-year-old graffiti-turned video artist on tNBC’s extreme series “Skate” (Saturdays, 11:30-12:00 p.m. ET/9:30-10:00 a.m. PT).
Vargas’ list of television series credits include “Higher Ground,” “Big Sound,” “MacGyver,” “Booker,” “Wise Guy,” recurring roles in “The Odyssey,” and “The Commish,” and guest starring roles in “Stargate,” and “Millennium.” No stranger to portraying mischievous characters, Vargas also appeared in the made-for-television movies “Till Dad Do Us Part,” “Deceived By Trust,” “Annie O,” “Christmas on Division Street,” “My Son Johnny,” “Sherlock Holmes Returns” and the five-part miniseries, “Eye Level.”
Vargas’ feature film credits include “Bang Bang You’re Dead,” Illusion Entertainment’s “Reasonable Force” and “Excess Baggage” with Golden Globe winner Benicio Del Toro.
Hoping to direct someday, Vargas enjoys working on writing his screenplay, “Djing,” listening to music, photography, and participating in various martial arts practices.
He currently lives in Vancouver. Vargas’ birthday is September 29.
