No newcomer to Hollywood, Anthony Harrison juggles a successful career in acting, directing, producing and writing, and now stars as Josh’s father Peter Raden on tNBC’s new extreme Saturday morning series “Skate” (Saturdays, 11:30-12:00 p.m. ET/9:30-10:00 a.m. PT).
In the mid-1980s, Harrison began his acting career appearing in such films as “I-Man” and “High Stakes.” Beginning in the early 1990s, Harrison starred in such television series as “The Heights,” “Wiseguy,” “The X-Files,” “The Commish,” “Sliders,” “Millennium,” “Strange World,” “Mysterious Ways” and “Outer Limits.” He also appeared in the NBC movie “Atomic Train.”
Since, Harrison has since starred in others TV movies such as “Aftershock: Earthquake in New York,” “By Dawn’s Early Light” and “The Wedding Dress,” starring Neil Patrick Harris and Tyne Daly.
Harrison’s feature-film credits include “Saving Grace,” (which he wrote and produced), “The Sixth Day,” “Blackwoods,” “Snow Falling on Cedars,” and the comedy hit “Screwed,” starring Norm MacDonald and David Chappelle.
When not working, Harrison enjoys painting, writing and spending time with his kids. His birthday is January 9.
