SEASON FINALE -- MOTHER’S DAY FORCES THE SHEFFIELDS TO FACE THEIR MEMORIES OF SARA -- With Mother’s Day approaching, Maxwell (Charles Shaughnessy) tries to distract Maggie (Nicholle Tom), Brighton (Benjamin Salisbury), and Grace (Madeline Zima) so they will not dwell on their late mother, Sara. Fran (Fran Drescher) believes the children should be allowed to talk about her instead of avoiding the subject. Niles (Daniel Davis) watches the tension build as Fran pushes the family toward an honest conversation about grief and memory. The day becomes especially emotional when Sara appears in flashbacks, forcing the household to confront what has been left unsaid. Lauren Lane also stars.
